Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Mission

For two long months this high desert metropolis has languished dry beneath an unrelenting summer sun, desperate for the mercy of a generous raincloud.	However, the devotees of the Utah Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Mission have endured an even greater want.

They wither and wait in the dry heat of an unfulfilled aspiration, desperate for an opportunity to host an amazing devotee.	September 14th comes with hope for both. As the sky teems with heavy clouds, reminding one and all of the raincloud-complexioned Lord whose dearest servant extinguishes the fire of material existence, Sripad Bhakti Sudhir Goswami Maharaj's plane lands. Goswami Maharaj visits Utah at the end of a whirlwind tour of six cities in six days, inspiring the faithful with programs in San Jose, Santa Cruz, Tijuana, San Diego, and Eugene, Oregon. Shobhana Krishna Prabhu whisks him away and into the rush-hour traffic.

Goswami Maharaj spends the evening with all of the devotees of Salt Lake City. Although weary from his travels, he wastes no time with rest. Immediately upon his arrival he begins to glorify the amazing beauty, love, and affection of Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj and his dedicated servitors. Such affection continually pours down upon all of the devotees on various continents. Goswami Maharaj speaks of the unique service ability of each devotee, and how Gurudev animates all of us in our individual personalities to dedicate ourselves to the center. All we can do is try and try our hardest with sincerity.	The next morning a few devotees show Goswami Maharaj a view of Salt Lake City before he leaves. But do they still reside beside a lake of salt? Has it not become Nectar Lake? Surely its banks now shimmer with waves of fragrant sweet juice, requiring only the proper vision to see it, feel it, and taste it. Such is the glory of Sri Guru, Sri Guru's grace, and Sri Guru's surrendered emissary, Sripad Bhakti Sudhir Goswami Maharaj.

We, the servants of the Utah Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Mission, pray that we may always be able to serve His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Sundar GovindaMaharaj, His devotees, and His Mission.
